Even though the creditor may be receiving Income Support the creditor remains responsible for reporting any payments from the debtor made directly to the creditor in order to keep the file up-to-date. By regulation, direct payments must be reported within seven days through the automated functions of the MEP Info Line into the creditor’s secure mailbox or through MEP Accounts Online.
