Children and youth issues cross many government ministries. Regional authorities, organizations and agencies that provide support and care for children, youth and their families need to be able to share necessary information to provide effective services. In support of this need, the government has developed guidelines and a training program as part of the Alberta Children & Youth Initiative (ACYI).
